Mobile Cardiac Telemetry

Real-time detection and wireless transmission of symptomatic and asymptomatic arrhythmia

Mobile Cardiac Telemetry Solutions

LifeWatch provides two innovative Mobile Cardiac Telemetry (MCT) solutions that detect, record and wirelessly transmit asymptomatic and symptomatic arrhythmia to LifeWatch clinicians for analysis. Patients may also record manual events with symptom and activity reporting.

An advanced algorithm computes heart rate and detects asymptomatic and symptomatic arrhythmia at a wide variety of rates and durations.

MCT Reporting:
- Up to 30 days of retrievable ECG data
- Episode, Daily Summary, End of Service and Urgent Notifications
- Heart Rate histogram correlated to A-Fib, symptoms and activities
- A-Fib onset and offset
- AF Burden and rate charts
- Full disclosure report on demand

LifeWatch MCT 3 Lead (MCT 3L)

Clean and simple design with proven ease of use, the classic LifeWatch MCT 3 lead system provides three distinct views of the heart for more specific and sensitive diagnostic value. The monitor records rhythms through independent leads for up to 30 days.

A programmable feature allows a switch from the MCT 3L system (with optional 24/48-hour Holter reporting) to an Auto-Detect / Auto- Send 3-channel cardiac event monitor, upon a physician's order and without disruption to a patient’s monitoring session.

LifeWatch MCT 1 Lead Patch (MCT 1LP)

The LifeWatch MCT 1 Lead Patch is a patient-friendly system designed with an ultralight and flexible hydrocolloid patch, ensuring a high level of comfort and convenience.

Patients may continue normal activities while wearing the patch, including showering.

The easy to use and large screen Monitor detects and wirelessly transmits data in real time to LifeWatch for analysis.

Note: The MCT 1L Patch is not indicated for patients under 21 years of age.

Holter Plus MCT - Single Device with Three in One Functionality

Real time detection and transmission of abnormal events
24/48 hours of continuous 3 channel Holter data and up to 30 days of Mobile Cardiac Telemetry from one software-defined device. A remotely programmable feature allows a switch from the advanced MCT 3 Lead system to a sophisticated Auto-Detect / Auto-Send cardiac event monitoring system.

The Holter Plus MCT Service (ACT Ex) protocol is a two part order. When placing an order, Mobile Cardiac Telemetry monitor will be used for both orders. The service transitions from a non-yielding full disclosure Holter to MCT or Cardiac Event Monitoring (up to 30 days) under a physician’s order and without delay or interruption of service to the patient, or disruption to office workflow.
