LifeWatch Corp. Announces Appointment of Key Clinical Strategist to Lead its Monitoring Services Company

CHICAGO, IL. - LifeWatch Corp. announced today the appointment of Marikay Menard as Vice President of Clinical Strategy, effective May 5, 2008.  “We are delighted that Ms. Menard has agreed to serve as our Vice President of Clinical Strategy,” stated Roger Richardson, President and COO of LifeWatch Corp. “ She brings a wealth of clinical, analytical and project management  experience in the Healthcare industry, and her strong client relationships and consulting skills will help drive our revenue growth initiatives and facilitate our expansion into other areas of healthcare.”

Ms. Menard has over 20 years of hands-on leadership, and has enabled ‘early adopter’ healthcare organizations to transform manual, disconnected clinical processes to automated, integrated ‘closed-loop’ work flows. Prior to LifeWatch, Ms. Menard served as Healthcare Executive at Cerner Corporation, a leading supplier of healthcare information technology. Ms. Menard represented Cerner across the healthcare industry leading healthcare information systems implementations, formulating clinical sales strategy & contributing to solution development.  She brings a strong working knowledge of health information technology solutions and services. Ms. Menard holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honors from the University of Illinois’ Medical Center, and is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Health Information and Management Systems Society.


On March 25 of 2008, LifeWatch announced that it had exceeded its first quarter of 2008 forecast of billable ACT patient enrollments. To support this rapid growth, the Company expanded its monitoring facility in Philadelphia, and has realigned its operations to focus on ACT as a health service platform that will leverage multiple vital signs monitors that enable true, holistic patient condition management. Ms. Menard’s appointment will further enhance LifeWatch’s reputation as an industry leader of arrhythmia monitoring services, and allow the expansion of its services into other Telehealth, Telemonitoring and Clinical Research arenas.
