Arrhythmia Monitoring
Arrhythmia monitoring refers to tests physicians use to identify the type and the cause of irregular heart rhythms. These tests include electrocardiographic (ECG) testing and electrophysiology (EP) testing. Arrhythmias are changes in the heart's normal rate or rhythm and are classified by their location in the heart and by their speed or rhythm. When symptoms occur, patients use an arrhythmia monitoring device to record an EKG. The data can be transmitted automatically via cell phone, or transmitted by regular phone to LifeWatch's patient monitoring centers, which operate around-the-clock (24/7/365). This data is reviewed by experienced cardiac technicians who prepare thorough diagnostic reports in hard copy or online format. If pre-determined criteria are met, the patient's physician is notified.

LifeWatch 24/7/365 services are provided by our two patient monitoring centers. Certified cardiac technicians and RNs receive the patients ECGs and prepare detailed analyses of the data for the prescribing physician.
LifeWatch is the exclusive provider of LifeStar™ ACT, ACT III and ACT Ex monitoring services. LifeStar™ ACT monitors do not require patient intervention to capture or transmit an arrhythmia when it occurs. Upon arrhythmia detection, the LifeStar ACT utilizes an integrated cellular phone to transmit the data to LifeWatch, where the ECG is analyzed.
NiteWatch Home Sleep Testing
The NiteWatch home sleep testing service is a prescription service intended for unattended sleep monitoring of patients with suspected Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The NiteWatch sleep testing system utilizes the most user-friendly kit in the market. And as there are no long patient wait times, you receive faster and more comprehensive reports for timely treatment of your patients.
